The Great Hall at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church was adorned with wedding dresses and Memorabilia Saturday, October 4th for a Bridal Tea.  People were welcomed at the door with a program noting all of the memorabilia donated for this special occasion.  After signing the guest book, one could view dresses from as early as 1933 to 2008.  Each differed in color and style and was displayed for all to admire.  Wedding memorabilia, including marriage certificates dating back to 1850, photoes, garters, shoes, bouquets, bridesmaids, and flower girls dresses, invitations, cake tops, jewelry, Bibles, and feathered plumes adorned tables around the rooms.  Sandwiches, tea, coffee, and wedding cake were served to all.  Sally Smith and Nora Gillis were pourers at the head table, and Cindy Wartman dressed in her wedding dress cut the wedding cake made by Angela Ramsey.

It was a wonderful day for our two hour Bridal Tea.  What a great time everyone hard!  All proceeds went to the Episcopal Church Women to benefit their work within the church and community.
